Pasar Induk Among Tani Diresmikan Sebagai Pasar Tradisional Terbesar di Indonesia
SEAToday.com, Jawa Timur - Presiden Indonesia Joko Widodo meresmikan Pasar Induk Among Tani di Kota Batu, Jawa Timur pada Kamis (14/12). Dalam sambutannya, ia menyebutkan bahwa pasar ini merupakan pasar tradisional terbesar di Indonesia.
Pasar yang berdiri diatas lahan seluas 3,5 hektar ini, memiliki tiga lantai dan dapat menampung hingga 2.700 kios and los. Pasar ini juga disebut memiliki zona basah dan zona kering, termasuk juga zona untuk makanan dan kuliner.
Pasar Induk Among Tani Kota Batu dibangun sejak 2021 dengan anggaran 166 miliar rupiah, dan sudah mulai beroperasi sejak 2 Oktober 2023. Presiden Jokowi berharap agar pasar ini dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan pedagang di Kota Batu.
