Tilang Manual Ditiadakan Jelang Libur Natal dan Tahun Baru
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Kapolri) Jenderal Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo menyebutkan, pihak kepolisian akan meniadakan tilang manual untuk sementara selama libur Natal 2023 dan Tahun Baru 2024 (Nataru), Senin (11/12). Polisi lalu lintas yang bertugas hanya akan menegur dan mengimbau para pengemudi yang melanggar lalu lintas.
Untuk mengamankan lalu lintas jelang Nataru, Polri akan menggelar operasi lilin yang berlaku pada 22 Desember 2023-2 Januari 2024 mendatang. Kepolisian bersama TNI serta pemangku kepentingan lainnya akan menurunkan sebanyak 129.923 personel gabungan dalam operasi tersebut.
Meskipun tidak melakukan tilang manual, Kapolri mengimbau masyarakat untuk selalu berhati-hati saat berkendara, mematuhi aturan, serta menghormati dan menjaga keselamatan satu sama lain.
