Penerapan NIK sebagai Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak Ditunda Hingga Juli Tahun Depan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Direktorat Jenderal Pajak (DJP) Kementerian Keuangan mengundurkan jadwal implementasi Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) sebagai Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) menjadi 1 Juli 2024.

Direktur Penyuluhan, Pelayanan, dan Hubungan Masyarakat, Dwi Astuti, Selasa (12/12) menyebutkan pengunduran dilakukan karena mempertimbangkan penyesuaian waktu implementasi Core Tax Administration System (CTAS) di pertengahan tahun 2024 dan setelah melakukan asesmen kesiapan seluruh stakeholder yang terdampak seperti instansi pemerintah, lembaga, asosiasi, dan wajib pajak.

"Kesempatan ini diberikan kepada seluruh stakeholder untuk menyiapkan sistem aplikasi terdampak, sekaligus upaya pengujian dan habituasi sistem yang baru bagi wajib pajak,” ujar Dwi.

Berlakunya pengaturan tersebut membuat NPWP dengan format 15 digit masih dapat digunakan hingga 30 Juni mendatang.
