Lawyer Alvin Lim Passes Away

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Lawyer Alvin Lim passed away at Mayapada Hospital in Tangerang, Banten on Sunday (1/5) at 12:00 pm. The news of the lawyer's death was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of LQ Indonesia Law Firm, Putra Hendra Giri. LQ Indonesia Law Firm is a law firm founded by Alvin Lim. The cause of death was not revealed.

“Suddenly I got information at 12.00 WIB that Mr. Alvin Lim died,” he said as quoted from a statement received on Sunday.

Alvin Lim's body was laid to rest at Green Heaven Jakarta Funeral Home in Pluit, North Jakarta.

On Sunday (5/1) morning, Alvin Lim was scheduled to inaugurate a branch office of LQ Indonesia Law Firm in Surabaya, East Java. However, Alvin was not feeling well and decided to catch up. Apparently, at 12.00 WIB, Putra received news that Alvin Lim had passed away.

Alvin Lim was a lawyer who graduated from Florida State University and the University of California Berkeley, United States.

Alvin Lim's figure is familiar to the public. Moreover, in recent times, he has become a lawyer for Agus Salim, a victim of acid spraying, regarding the polemic over the use of donation money.

Alvin Lim's name was also busy after making a controversial statement stating that Ferdy Sambo was not detained at Salemba Prison, Jakarta, but in the Correctional Institution Security Unit (KPLP) room equipped with air conditioning.
