Kakorlantas Resmikan SIM C1 untuk Kendaraan dengan Kapasitas Mesin 250-500 cc
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Korps Lalu Lintas (Korlantas) Polri resmi menerbitkan Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM) C1 untuk kendaraan roda dua dengan kapasitas mesin 250-500 cc, Senin (27/5). Penerbitan SIM C1 sudah mulai berlaku di seluruh Indonesia. Untuk memperoleh SIM C1, masyarakat harus mempunyai SIM C biasa paling tidak selama satu tahun.
Kepala Korlantas Polri Irjen (Pol) Aan Suhanan mengungkapkan, penerbitan SIM C1 ini untuk memastikan adanya perbedaan antara kompetensi pengendara SIM C, SIM C1, dan SIM C2 kedepannya.
Polisi berharap, diberlakukannya SIM C1 dapat menekan angka kecelakaan lalu lintas. Sebab, hanya pengemudi yang telah mengantongi izin yang dapat mengendarai kendaraan tersebut. (DHITA/ DKD)
