SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Provinsi Bali menghadirkan tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) dengan semua petugasnya perempuan yang akan menggunakan pakaian adat Bali. Hal ini disampaikan Ketua KPU Provinsi Bali I Dewa Agung Gede Lidartawan di Denpasar, Kamis (8/2).
Ia mengatakan telah meminta setiap KPU kabupaten/ kota dapat menghadirkan minimal satu tempat pemungutan suara dengan petugas kelompok penyelenggara pemungutan suara (KPPS), pengawas TPS hingga petugas ketertiban yang seluruhnya perempuan. Selain itu, para saksi peserta Pemilu 2024 di TPS tersebut juga sama-sama perempuan.
Lebih lanjut, ia menyampaikan bahwa tujuan TPS dengan penyelenggara perempuan tersebut untuk mendorong partisipasi kaum hawa di Provinsi Bali, terlebih selama ini ada pandangan bahwa mengurus politik itu kotor. Dengan diberikan kesempatan tersebut, diharapkan kaum perempuan mulai berubah pikiran dan mau terjun ke dunia politik.
