Pemerintah Rancang Aturan Agar Atlet Pemenang Olimpiade Dapat Dana Pensiun
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Kemenko PMK) berencana memberikan dana pensiun bagi atlet Indonesia peraih medali Olimpiade. Hal ini disampaikan oleh Asisten Deputi Peningkatan Prestasi Olahraga Kemenko PMK, Budi Prasetyo.
Budi menjelaskan bahwa aturan mengenai dana pensiun ini akan diatur dalam Peraturan Pemerintah (PP) terkait penghargaan bagi atlet berprestasi. Besaran dana pensiun juga masih dalam tahap pembahasan.
"Kaya (medali) emas, perak, perunggu. Jumlahnya beda-beda tentunya. Lagi dirumuskan," ujar Budi.
Tak hanya dana pensiun, pemerintah juga akan memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan bagi para atlet. Hal ini bertujuan untuk membantu mereka dalam mengelola bonus dan keuangannya dengan bijak di masa depan.
Pemerintah selama ini kerap memberikan bonus bagi para atlet berprestasi. Selain memberikan bonus dalam bentuk uang, pemerintah juga sempat mengangkat atlet berprestasi mulai tingkat Asia Tenggara hingga dunia menjadi Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS).
