BMKG Peringatkan Potensi Hujan Badai di Sebagian Besar Wilayah Indonesia
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Berdasarkan laporan dari Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) yang dirilis, Jumat (29/3), hujan badai berpotensi terjadi di sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia. Hujan badai tersebut juga disertai angin kencang, kilat, dan petir.
Daerah yang berpotensi terjadi hujan badai yaitu Sumatera Barat, Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan, Lampung, Jawa Barat, DKI Jakarta, Jawa Tengah, DI Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, dan Bali.
Selain itu, hujan badai juga akan menerjang Nusa Tenggara Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi Utara, Gorontalo, Sulawesi Selatan, Maluku Utara, Maluku, dan Papua Barat.
Menurut BMKG, keberadaan tiga bibit siklon tropis (91S, 94S, dan 93P) di Samudra Hindia selatan Jawa, Laut Timor, dan Laut Australia berpotensi meningkatkan kejadian cuaca ekstrem dan bencana di sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia.
Kepala BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati mengingatkan para pemudik, penyedia jasa transportasi, dan operator transportasi untuk mengantisipasi kemungkinan terjadinya cuaca ekstrem yang berlangsung selama arus mudik Lebaran nanti.
