Police to Deploy More Than 2,000 Personnel for First Vice Presidential Debate

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - A total of 2,464 police personnel will be deployed to secure the first vice-presidential debate at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), South Jakarta, on Friday (12/22). This debate is the second in a series of presidential and vice-presidential debates for the 2024 General Election.

Announced by the Public Relations Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Senior Comm. Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, he also explained that the number of personnel consisted of 166 Central Task Force personnel, 298 Resort Task Force, and the rest were Regional Task Force personnel.

On the same occasion, he also explained that there were efforts to anticipate congestion by preparing traffic engineering. However, the plan is still situational.

The first vice-presidential debate will be held at the JCC, Senayan, and will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. Western Indonesia Time. The event will last for 150 minutes.
