Honouring Asia's Top 50 Women Technologists and Leaders at the Inaugural ASIA WOMEN TECH LEADERS AWARD

SEAToday.com, Marina Bay Sands - In a significant tribute to the outstanding contributions of women in technology across Asia, the inaugural Asia Women Tech Leaders Awards (AWTLA) proudly announced the top 50 winners of its inaugural edition on International Women's Day 2025. Celebrating the achievements of trailblazing women in the tech industry, AWTLA seeks to inspire and empower the next generation of female tech leaders while underscoring gender diversity in fostering human capital development in the rapidly growing tech industry.
Launched with an open call for nominations in 2024, the AWTLA sought to highlight the exceptional talents of women technologists of various nationalities who reside in Asia, breaking barriers, and spearheading innovations within the tech sector in Asia.
These 50 winners, hailing from All over Asia have also demonstrated exceptional technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to fostering diversity and innovation in the technology landscape.
The Award also underscores the critical role of women in driving technological advancement and innovation. By honouring these 50 women, the AWTLA highlights the need for greater diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, encouraging more women to pursue and thrive in technology-related fields.

Lia Yuldinawati’s as one of 50 winners, commitment to bridging Indonesia’s digital divide stems from her early realisation of the unequal access to internet connectivity across the archipelago. This disparity not only restricts digital transformation but also limits economic and social advancement for countless Indonesians. Motivated by this gap, Ms Yuldinawati has championed digital literacy, particularly for womenpreneurs, recognising their critical role in driving both technological innovation and economic growth.
Since 2015, she has dedicated herself to supporting Indonesian women in overcoming the digital gender gap, which remains stark—with women facing up to 40% less access to the internet than men. Her efforts intensified during the pandemic, when more than half of women reported workplace obstacles amid the digital shift. Witnessing Indonesia’s tech evolution,, Ms Yuldinawati deepened her advocacy for equal access and education in technology.
Looking ahead, Ms Yuldinawati’s strategic vision is centred on empowering womenpreneurs through tailored coaching, technology integration, and collaborative ecosystems. Her lifelong mission is to advance gender equality, foster inclusive workplaces, and champion a future where technology bridges divides, and drives shared prosperity
