Prakiraan Cuaca Selasa 11 Juni 2024: Hujan Ringan di Sebagian Besar Wilayah

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Hujan dengan intensitas ringan diprakirakan Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) akan mengguyur sebagian besar wilayah ibu kota provinsi di Indonesia pada Selasa, 11 Juni 2024.

Dikutip dari situs BMKG di Jakarta, ibu kota provinsi yang berpotensi hujan dengan intensitas ringan pada siang hari ini, yakni Padang, Manado, Kendari, Makassar, Manokwari, Kota Jayapura, Ambon, Bandar Lampung, Tanjung Pinang, Banjarmasin, Jambi, Gorontalo, Jakarta Pusat, dan Serang. Sementara Kota Bengkulu, Bandung, dan Palembang diprediksi hujan dengan intensitas sedang.

BMKG juga memperingatkan masyarakat agar waspada hujan disertai petir yang berpotensi terjadi di wilayah Pangkal Pinang. Beberapa wilayah diprediksi berawan pada siang hari ini, di antaranya Denpasar, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Palangkaraya, Ternate, Mataram, dan Medan.

Sedangkan wilayah Banda Aceh, Surabaya, Pontianak, Samarinda, Tarakan, Kupang, Pekanbaru, dan Mamuju, diprediksi cerah berawan.

BMKG sebelumnya juga menyatakan potensi hujan di sejumlah wilayah Indonesia masih tinggi setidaknya hingga September, walau beberapa wilayah juga sudah mulai memasuki musim kemarau, dilansir Antara.

Deputi Meteorologi Guswanto menjelaskan hal tersebut terjadi karena adanya beberapa dinamika atmosfer yang masih aktif di wilayah Indonesia, fenomena Madden Julian Oscillation (MJO), gelombang ekuatorial Rossby, Kelvin, hingga pola sirkulasi siklonik serta potensi pembentukan daerah belokan dan perlambatan angin.

Kondisi ini bisa menimbulkan dampak cuaca ekstrem kebencanaan hidrometeorologi yang meliputi banjir, banjir bandang, banjir lahar hujan, tanah longsor dan seterusnya meski di saat yang bersamaan Indonesia mulai dilanda musim kemarau pada Juni--September 2024.
