SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kepala Kantor Komunikasi Kepresidenan Hasan Nasbi mengatakan pemerintahan akan pindah ke Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN) di Kalimantan Timur usai ibu kota baru bisa menjalankan peran sebagai ibu kota politik. Kepindahan ini diperkirakan terjadi pada 2028.
"Presiden mengatakan bahwa kepindahan pemerintahan ke IKN setelah IKN bisa memerankan fungsi sebagai ibu kota politik. Artinya ada kantor eksekutif, kantor legislatif dan kantor yudikatif di sana," kata Hasan melalui pesan singkat kepada wartawan, di Jakarta, Selasa, 10 Desember 2024, dilansir Antara.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Hasan menjawab terkait kepastian kapan Presiden Prabowo Subianto akan pindah dan berkantor di IKN. Hasan menyebut pembangunan IKN akan terus dilanjutkan.
Dikatakannya, jika tidak ada kendala, maka pada 2028, atau paling lambat 2029 IKN sudah bisa menjadi ibu kota politik. Sejauh ini pemerintah melalui Otorita IKN terus melakukan pembangunan di IKN.
Otorita IKN menjelaskan bahwa proyek pembangunan yang tengah dilakukan salah satunya, yakni gedung Kementerian Pertahanan (Kemhan), Badan Intelijen Negara (BIN), TNI dan Polri di Nusantara, Kalimantan Timur yang saat ini dalam tahap revisi Daftar Isian Pelaksanaan Anggaran (DIPA).
"Jadi sedang revisi DIPA, kalau sudah revisi terus tanda tangan kontrak, tetap dilaksanakan," ujar Kepala Otorita IKN Basuki Hadimuljono di Jakarta, Senin, 9 Desember 2024.
Menurut Basuki, gedung Kemhan, BIN, TNI dan Polri merupakan infrastruktur yang rencananya akan dibangun di Ibu Kota Nusantara (IKN).
Proyek pembangunan gedung-gedung tersebut sudah selesai dilelang dan telah ditetapkan namun belum terkontrak. Penandatanganan kontrak menunggu selesainya revisi DIPA.
