Kominfo Tengah Proses nomor 112 untuk jadi Kontak Kedaruratan Nasional
SEAToday.com, Badung - Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika (Kemenkominfo) menyatakan tengah memproses nomor “112” untuk menjadi kontak kedaruratan dan kebencanaan nasional yang dapat digunakan masyarakat untuk mendapatkan informasi dan bantuan, layaknya 911 di AS.
Direktur Pita Lebar Direktorat Jenderal Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika (Ditjen PPI) Kemenkominfo Marvel Situmorang, Senin (23/9) menyebut bahwa sejumlah daerah telah menggunakan nomor ini untuk layanan kedaruratan, namun belum terintegrasi. Ia juga menyebutkan agar proyek ini dapat dijadikan proyek strategis nasional (PSN).
Marvel mengungkapkan bahwa kementerian tengah melakukan uji kelayakan terhadap proyek ini. Jika pengelolaannya juga mengacu pada 911 di AS, maka pengelolaan 112 dapat dikelola di tingkat kota dan kabupaten.
