Bus Pariwisata Kecelakaan di Subang Dipaksa Modifikasi Bodi SHD

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-Tidak hanya tidak layak jalan, bus pariwisata PO Trans Putera Fajar yang mengalami kecelakaan di Subang ternyata bodinya sudah dimodifikasi.

Bodi bus tersebut sudah dimodifikasi menggunakan bodi jenis SHD atau super high decker tanpa mempertimbangkan kemampuan sasis. Kemampuan sasis bus tahun 2006 tersebut tidak mendukung penggunaan bodi dek tinggi.

Awalnya bodi yang digunakan dalam bus ini yaitu bodi besutan karoseri Laksana tipe Discovery. Bodi tersebut bukan merupakan bodi bertipe dek tinggi, tetapi bodi biasa dengan kaca depan single.

Namun, saat bus digunakan dan mengalami kecelakaan di Subang, bodi bus tersebut sudah dimodifikasi menggunakan bodi SHD. Bus tersebut tampak lebih tinggi dan menggunakan kaca depan ganda. Di bodi samping terdapat tulisan New Super High Deck 3+.

Bus tersebut awalnya dimiliki oleh PO SAN. Direktur Utama PT SAN Putera Sejahtera, Kurnia Lesani Adnan menyebutkan bahwa bodi bus dirombak setelah PO SAN menjual bus ke PT Jaya Guna Hage pada tahun 2022.

Sani mengatakan perombakan bodi tidak bisa dilakukan secara sembarang. Harus diperhitungkan juga jenis dan kondisi sasis bus tersebut.

Ia mengatakan perombakan yang dilakukan pada bus yang mengalami kecelakaan ini sangat bertentangan dengan regulasi dan kenyamanan kendaraan saat beroperasi, terutama dari sisi keselamatan.
