Menteri Erick Thohir Sebut Indonesia Perlu Kebijakan Pro Petani
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Erick Thohir menilai Indonesia membutuhkan kebijakan yang pro petani.
“Sudah saatnya kita membuat kebijakan pro petani. Kita harus berani membuka diri, membangun ekosistem yang transparan, digitalisasi distribusi pupuk harus segera dituntaskan,” katanya seperti dikutip Antara.
Erick menambahkan Indonesia memiliki jumlah penduudk yang terus tumbuh. Diperkirakan, jumlah penduduk Indonesia akan meningkat dari 280 juta jiwa menjadi 315 juta jiwa.
Menurut dia hal itu menjadi tantangan yang kompleks. Alhasil, isu pangan menjadi penting untuk dibahas apalagi jika berkaca kepada luas daratan Indonesia yang hanya 30 persen.
Oleh karenanya, diperlukan kebijakan yang pro petani. Salah satunya adalah soal transparansi ekosistem dan distribusi pupuk.
“Membangun ekosistem yang transparan, digitalisasi distribusi pupuk harus segera dituntaskan,” katanya.
