Bekasi Police Shares HOTLINE Numbers After Seven Bodies Found  in Bekasi River

SEAToday.com, Jatiasih - The Bekasi City Metropolitan Police has established a HOTLINE service to assist in the reporting of missing persons following the discovery of seven bodies in the Bekasi River. Police Commissioner Adjutan Suparyono, head of the police department's public relations unit, stated that the hotline is available for residents who have lost their children and is intended to aid in the identification process of the bodies at Kramatjati Police Hospital.

"We are providing the hotline number, if there is any information, you can call 0813-2636-1995," he said. 

The police are currently awaiting autopsy results and conducting a thorough investigation into the case.

On Sunday (9/22), residents were shocked by the discovery of seven bodies in the Bekasi River near Pondok Gede Permai Housing in Jatiasih. The Bekasi City Metropolitan Police revealed that the victims had consumed alcohol before being apprehended by officers and subsequently decided to jump into the river. Witnesses also reported the presence of sharp weapons at the scene.
