Remaja Berusia 20 tahun Didentifikasi Sebagai Pelaku Penembak Donald Trump
SEAToday.com, Pennsylvania - Biro Investigasi Federal Amerika Serikat (FBI) telah berhasil mengidentifikasi pelaku penembakan terhadap Donald Trump di Butler, Pennsylvania. Berdasarkan informasi yang disampaikan melalui laman resmi mereka, Minggu (14/7), pelaku tersebut adalah remaja berusia 20 tahun bernama Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Ia menembaki Trump dari atap gedung yang berada di luar keamanan, hingga keberadaannya diketahui Secret Service dan ditembak hingga tewas.
Agen Khusus FBI Pittsburgh yang bertugas, Kevin Rojek pada Sabtu (13/7) menyampaikan hingga saat ini pihaknya belum mengetahui motif dari pelaku. Selain itu, keberpihakan politik Crooks belum bisa dipastikan.
Namun, berdasarkan laporan dari stasiun televisi KDKA dan catatan menunjukkan bahwa ia terdaftar sebagai pemilih Partai Republik di Pennsylvania, namun sebelumnya pernah memberikan sumbangan sebesar 15 dolar AS kepada sebuah kelompok yang berafiliasi dengan Partai Demokrat.
