Pemerintah Berencana Pindahkan Pelabuhan Impor

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Indonesia saat ini tengah merencanakan pemindahan pelabuhan masuk barang impor dari Tanjung Priok dan Tanjung Perak yang dinilai sudah melebihi kapasitas sehingga sulit dilakukan pengawasan.
Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), Rabu (4/9) mengatakan bahwa sejumlah menteri terkait telah menyepakati pemindahan tersebut. Namun, rencana ini masih perlu dibahas dan diputuskan bersama Presiden Joko Widodo dalam rapat terbatas.
Sebelumnya, Menteri Zulhas mengusulkan pemindahan jalur masuk di luar Pulau Jawa guna menghambat peredaran tujuh komoditas impor yang membanjiri Indonesia. Pemindahan ini akan meningkatkan biaya logistik sehingga mempengaruhi harga jual barang ke konsumen.
"Kalau itu memang susah mengendalikannya karena overkapasitas, maka bisa ditata ada Semarang, Jawa Tengah, nanti mungkin di Belawan, Sumatera Utara atau di Batam, Kepulauan Riau, kemudian ada lagi di Bitung, Sulawesi Utara, serta ada juga Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan, dan Sorong, Papua Barat Daya," katanya.
Sementara itu, Menteri Perindustrian Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita mengatakan pemindahan ke wilayah timur Indonesia dapat secara langsung bisa memperkuat daya saing industri dalam negeri
