Pemerintah Akan Berikan Bantuan Kesehatan 1 Juta US Dolar Masing-Masing Untuk Palestina dan Sudan

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Pemerintah Indonesia mengumumkan akan memberikan bantuan kepada Palestina dan Sudan dengan nilai masing-masing sebesar 1 juta dolar AS, Selasa (26/3). Hal ini diungkapkan oleh Menteri Koordinator Bidang Pembangunan Manusia dan Kebudayaan (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy usai Rapat Koordinasi Tingkat Menteri (RTM) yang membahas darurat kesehatan di Palestina dan Sudan. 

 

Menteri Luar Negeri Retno Marsudi yang juga hadir dalam kesempatan tersebut menyebutkan, bantuan ini merupakan bagian dari diplomasi kemanusiaan yang telah dilakukan pemerintah selama 10 tahun. Bantuan ini juga akan berfokus pada sektor kesehatan, sesuai permintaan dari pemerintah negara yang bersangkutan. 

 

Menteri Retno mengungkapkan jika pemberian bantuan ini akan dilakukan menggunakan jalur udara atas ajakan Yordania, mengingat banyaknya hambatan via jalur darat. Untuk bantuan ke Palestina, Indonesia akan bekerjasama dengan pemerintah Mesir dan mengkhususkan pemberian bantuan ke Gaza Utara. Pengiriman bantuan ini direncanakan untuk direalisasikan pekan depan.
