LRT Jabodebek Tingkatkan Jumlah Perjalanan Harian per 1 Maret
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Kabar gembira untuk pecinta angkutan umum, LRT Jabodebek menambah jumlah perjalanan per hari, mulai 1 Maret. Di hari kerja ada 44 perjalanan yang ditambahkan, sedangkan pada akhir pekan ada 20 perjalanan.
Penambahan ini akan meningkatkan jumlah perjalanan harian LRT pada hari kerja menjadi 308 perjalanan per hari, dan 260 perjalanan pada akhir pekan. Selain itu, hal ini juga akan mengurangi waktu tunggu antar kereta (headway) menjadi 6 menit untuk rute Cawang-Dukuh Atas, dan 12,5 menit untuk rute Harjamukti - Cawang dan Jatimulya - Cawang.
Manager Public Relations LRT Jabodebek Mahendro Trang Bawono mengatakan penambahan ini untuk meningkatkan layanan LRT, yang didasari tren peningkatan jumlah pengguna LRT. Ia menjelaskan pengguna LRT pada bulan Desember ada sejumlah 1.029.686 orang, sedangkan data per 28 Februari menunjukkan peningkatan menjadi 1.202.087 orang.
Dengan adanya penambahan jumlah perjalanan, diharapkan meningkatkan jumlah pengguna dan minat masyarakat terhadap LRT, sehingga dapat mengurangi kemacetan dan polusi udara Jakarta dan sekitarnya.
