SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Seluruh maskapai penerbangan low-cost carrier (LCC) atau bertarif rendah akan dipindahkan ke Terminal 1 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten.
"Ini bagaimana airport ke depan yang low-cost itu akan berbeda terminal," ujar Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir di Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang, Rabu (1/1/2025).
Nantunya maskapai LCC yang masih beroperasi di Terminal 2, akan dipindahkan ke Terminal 1. Sedangkan, maskapai full-service akan dipindahkan ke Terminal 3.
Adanya perpindahan operasional ini, maka maskapai Batik Air yang saat ini beroperasi di Terminal 2 akan dipindahkan ke Terminal 3.
"Jadi full service nanti di Terminal 3. Terus kemudian yang 2F tadi khusus untuk terminal umrah, dan nanti low-cost-nya ada di Terminal 1," kata Direktur Utama PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) Faik Fahmi.
Dilansir dari laman resmi Bandara Soetta, maskapai LCC yang kini beroperasi di Terminal 2 yaitu Air Asia Indonesia, Air Asia, dan Lion Air. Nantinya, ketiga maskapai ini akan dipindahkan ke Terminal 1.
Saat ini, sedang dilakukan revitalisasi di Terminal 1 dan progresnya sudah mencapai 30 persen.
Sementara itu, Terminal 2F Bandara Soetta juga akan jadi terminal khusus jemaah umrah. Penataan Terminal 2F bakal dimulai pada akhir Januari 2025.
Jemaah umrah nantinya tidak perlu lagi menunggu di Terminal 3, melainkana akan secara bertahap dipindah ke Terminal 2F.
Saat ini hanya maskapai Lion Air yang melayani penerbangan langsung ke Jeddah dari Terminal 2F.
Maka nantinya maskapai Saudi Airlines dan Garuda Indonesia akan turut melakukan penerbangan langsung ke Jeddah dari Terminal 2F, pindah dari Terminal 3.
Sementara untuk jemaah umrah yang menggunakan maskapai dengan penerbangan tidak langsung ke Jeddah, seperti Emirates dan Qatar Airways, akan menunggu di Terminal 2F.
Kemudian dari Terminal 2F akan diantarkan dengan bus untuk naik pesawat di Terminal 3.
