SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Mantan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi mengatakan dirinya diperiksa sebagai saksi terkait kasus judi online (daring) yang melibatkan oknum Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi).

“Betul, saya memberikan keterangan sebagai saksi. Oleh karena itu, berhenti memfitnah dan mem-framing karena dia akan kebakar sendiri,” ujar Budi Arie ketika ditemui di Gedung Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, Kamis (19/12) sore.

Ia mengatakan sebagai warga negara yang taat hukum, dirinya berkewajiban untuk membantu pihak kepolisian dalam penuntasan pemberantasan kasus judi online di lingkungan Komdigi.

Pemeriksaan pun berlangsung selama dua jam oleh penyidik.

Sementara itu, Polda Metro Jaya mengungkapkan bahwa Budi Arie Setiadi dicecar sebanyak 18 pertanyaan oleh penyidik di Bareskrim Polri.

"Dalam permintaan keterangan terhadap BAS, penyidik mengajukan 18 (delapan belas) pertanyaan," ujar Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya, Komisaris Besar Polisi Polda Metro Jaya Ade Ary Syam Indradi, Kamis (19/12).

Diketahui Budi Arie Setiadi (BAS) tiba di Gedung Bareskrim Polri pada pukul 10.50 WIB dan dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan atau permintaan keterangan terhadap yang bersangkutan.

Pemeriksaan tersebut pun dimulai pada pukul 11.10 WIB hingga pukul 17.13 WIB.

Ade Ary menambahkan bahwa penyidik gabungan dari Subdirektorat (Subdit) III Tipidkor Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya dan Kortas Tipidkor Polri telah memulai penyidikan perkara dugaan tindak pidana korupsi.
