Indonesia Raih 8 Medali di Para Badminton Paralimpiade 2024
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Tim para badminton Indonesia mencetak prestasi gemilang di Paralimpiade Paris 2024 dengan meraih delapan medali, terdiri dari satu emas, empat perak, dan tiga perunggu.
Prestasi ini menempatkan mereka sebagai penyumbang medali terbanyak bagi kontingen Indonesia, yang menunjukkan kekuatan dan dedikasi para atlet dalam menghadapi ajang internasional bergengsi ini.
Dilansir dari Antara, emas pertama diraih oleh pasangan Hikmat Ramdani dan Leani Ratri Oktila di nomor ganda campuran SL3-SU5.
Mereka berhasil mengalahkan pasangan sesama Indonesia, Fredy Setiawan dan Khalimatus Sadiyah, yang harus puas dengan medali perak. Kemenangan ini menjadi sorotan karena memperlihatkan dominasi Indonesia di nomor tersebut.
Selain itu, tiga medali perak lainnya disumbangkan oleh Qonitah Ikhtiar Syakuroh di nomor tunggal putri SL3, Leani Ratri Oktila di nomor tunggal putri SL4, dan Suryo Nugroho di nomor tunggal putra SU5. Meskipun tidak berhasil meraih emas, penampilan mereka tetap memberikan kebanggaan dan menunjukkan potensi besar Indonesia di cabang para badminton.
Tiga medali perunggu diraih oleh pasangan Subhan dan Rina Marlina di nomor ganda campuran SH6, Deva Anrimusthi di nomor tunggal putra SU5, serta Fredy Setiawan di nomor tunggal putra SL4. Raihan ini menambah koleksi medali Indonesia di Paralimpiade Paris 2024 dan memperkuat posisi tim dalam persaingan internasional.
Secara keseluruhan, Indonesia kini telah mengumpulkan 12 medali dari tiga cabang olahraga di Paralimpiade Paris 2024, yaitu para badminton, para atletik, dan boccia.
Dengan kompetisi yang masih berlangsung di beberapa cabang lainnya, seperti para renang, para panahan, dan para angkat berat, Indonesia masih berpeluang menambah perolehan medali hingga 8 September mendatang.
