Hujan Lebat Diprakirakan Turun di Sebagian Besar Wilayah Indonesia
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) mengingatkan sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia berpotensi dilanda hujan lebat disertai petir dan angin kencang.
Sebelumnya, Kepala BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati mengungkapkan puncak musim hujan berpotensi terjadi pada Januari hingga Februari.
"Cuaca ekstrem ini dapat terjadi selama periode puncak musim hujan pada Januari dan Februari 2024. Potensi hujan lebat hingga sangat lebat, angin kencang, dan gelombang tinggi masih memiliki peluang yang tinggi terjadi di sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia," katanya seperti dilansir Antara.
Melansir situs resmi BMKG hujan lebat antara lain diprakirakan turun di wilayah Aceh, Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, DI Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat, dan Nusa Tenggara Timur.
Selanjutnya ada Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Utara, Kalimantan Timur, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi Utara, Gorontalo, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Selatan, Sulawesi Tenggara, Maluku, Papua Barat, dan Papua.
Sementara itu, provinsi yang diprakirakan mengalami potensi angin kencang adalah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Jawa Barat, DI Yogyakarta, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Kalimantan Utara dan Kalimantan Selatan.
Lebih lanjut, BMKG juga menyampaikan bahwa sebagian wilayah, yaitu Provinsi Sumatera Barat, Riau, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan, Kep. Bangka Belitung, Lampung, Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, DI Yogyakarta, Jawa Timur, Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Kalimantan Barat, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Utara, Kalimantan Timur, Kalimantan Selatan, Sulawesi Utara dan Maluku berpotensi mengalami hujan badai.
