Presiden Korea Selatan Yoon Suk Yeol Didesak Mundur Usai Umumkan Darurat Militer
SEAToday.com, Seoul - Presiden Korea Selatan Yoon Suk Yeol didesak untuk mundur dan terancam dimakzulkan usai mengumumkan “darurat militer” pada Selasa (3/12) yang memicu protes dan kecaman politik. Partai-partai oposisi Korea Selatan telah menyerukan pemakzulan terhadap Presiden Yoon Suk Yeol jika ia tidak segera mengundurkan diri, Rabu (4/12).
Pemakzulan tersebut membutuhkan dukungan dari 2/3 anggota parlemen dan minimal enam hakim Mahkamah Konstitusi. Jika upaya tersebut berhasil, Presiden Yoon Suk Yeol akan menjadi pemimpin Korea Selatan kedua yang dimakzulkan sejak negara tersebut mengusung sistem demokrasi, setelah Park Geun Hye.
Selain itu, Konfederasi Serikat Buruh Korea (KCTU) juga mendesak para anggotanya untuk mogok kerja massal tanpa batas waktu hingga Presiden Yoon Suk Yeol mengundurkan diri. KCTU menilai Presiden Yoon telah melakukan tindakan yang tidak rasional dan anti-demokrasi.
Sebagai informasi, Presiden Yoon Suk Yeol telah mengumumkan pencabutan darurat militer Korea Selatan, Rabu (4/12) pagi.
