President Joko Widodo Declares June 10 as National Entrepreneurship Day

SEAToday.com, Jakarta-President Joko Widodo attended the 52nd anniversary of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) on Monday (6/10). During the event, the President also declared June 10 as the National Entrepreneurship Day in Indonesia. 

"I'm pleased to announce the signing of a Presidential Decree declaring June 10 as National Entrepreneurship Day," President Jokowi stated.  

This decision follows a proposal from HIPMI's founder and chairman, who presented the idea during a visit to the Presidential Palace earlier this year.

President Jokowi also expressed his appreciation for HIPMI's ongoing support for government development initiatives and encouraged the association to continue fostering innovation in the field of entrepreneurship.
