Sopir Bus Laka Maut di Subang Ditetapkan Sebagai Tersangka

SEAToday.com, Subang-Dirlantas Polda Jawa Barat dan Polres Subang menetapkan sopir bus Trans Putra Jafar, Sadira, sebagai tersangka dalam kasus kecelakaan lalu lintas di Jalan Raya Palasari, Ciater, Subang, Jawa Barat.

Dari hasil penyelidikan, ada beberapa penyebab bus tersebut mengalami kecelakaan. Pertama, oli sudah keruh dan lama take diganti. Kedua, adanya campuran air dan oli di dalam kompresor, harusnya ada udara saja. Hal ini terjadi akibat kebocoran oli. Ketiga, jarak antara kampas rem di bawah standar, yakni 0,3 mm, seharusnya minimal di 0,45 mm. Keempat, terjadi kebocoran di dalam ruang relaypart dan sambungan antara relaypart dengan booster, karena adanya komponen yang sudah rusak sehingga saluran tidak tertutup rapat. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya tekanan.

"Penyebab utama kecelakaan maut tersebut karena adanya kegagalan fungsi pada sistem pengereman bus maut tersebut," kata Dirlantas Polda Jabar, Kombes Pol Wibowo, saat konferensi pers di Mapolres Subang, Selasa (14/5/2024).

"Sadira terbukti lalai. Sudah jelas mobil dalam keadaan sudah rusak tak layak jalan, namun terus dipaksakan jalan hingga akhirnya bus tersebut mengalami kecelakaan dan menewaskan 11 penumpang dan 40 penumpang lainnya luka-luka," tambahnya lagi.

Tersangka dikenai Pasal 3 11 ayat 5 Undang-Undang Lalu Lintas Tahun 2009 dengan ancaman maksimal kurungan 12 tahun penjara serta denda Rp24 juta.

Saat ini, tim penyidik masih terus mengembangkan dan mendalami kasus kecelakaan tersebut. Kemungkinan besar ada tersangka lain masih terbuka.
