BNPB: 37 Korban Tewas dan 17 Hilang Akibat Banjir Bandang di Sumatra Barat
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) mencatat sebanyak 37 orang meninggal dunia dan 17 orang hilang akibat banjir bandang lahar dingin di Sumatra Barat sejak Sabtu malam (11/5).
Dalam keterangan resmi Senin (13/5), Kepala Pusat Data, Informasi, dan Komunikasi Kebencanaan BNPB Abdul Muhari mengatakan, 35 jenazah telah berhasil diidentifikasi dengan rincian di Kabupaten Agam sejumlah 19 orang, Kabupaten Tanah Datar sembilan orang, Kota Padang Panjang dua orang, Kabupaten Padang Pariaman tujuh orang. Sedangkan dua jenazah lainnya masih dalam proses identifikasi.
Sementara itu, hingga Minggu (12/5) malam, jumlah orang hilang dilaporkan sebanyak 17 orang, dengan rincian 14 dari Kabupaten Tanah Datar dan tiga lainnya dari Kabupaten Agam.
BNPB mengimbau masyarakat yang bermukim di sekitar bantaran sungai yang berhulu ke Gunung Marapi agar selalu waspada dari potensi bahaya susulan. Masyarakat diharap melakukan evakuasi mandiri ke tempat yang lebih aman. (DHITA/DKD)
