SEAToday.com, Jawa Timur - Majelis Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Kraksaan Probolinggo, Jawa Timur menjatuhkan vonis 2 tahun 6 bulan penjara dan denda 3,5 miliar rupiah kepada terdakwa Andrie Wibowo Eka Wardhana (41) selaku manajer wedding organizer dalam kebakaran hutan bukit teletubbies di Gunung Bromo. Dakwaan tersebut dibacakan Majelis Hakim di Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Kraksaan, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur, Rabu (31/1).

Putusan tersebut lebih ringan dari tuntutan jaksa penuntut umum (JPU) yang menuntut 3 tahun penjara dan denda 3 miliar rupiah subsider enam bulan kurungan. Majelis hakim memberikan waktu tujuh hari kedepan bagi JPU ataupun kuasa hukum terdakwa untuk menerima atau melakukan upaya banding atas putusan itu.

Kuasa hukum terdakwa, Hasmoko mengatakan pihaknya menilai putusan tersebut masih sangat berat meskipun vonis hakim lebih ringan dari tuntutan JPU.
