Danau Toba Masuk Daftar New York Times, 52 Tempat yang Harus Dikunjungi di Tahun 2024
SEAToday.com, Sumatra Utara - Danau Toba, Sumatra Utara masuk dalam daftar destinasi wisata yang direkomendasikan New York Times dalam “52 Places to Go in 2024”, Rabu (1/10). Dalam daftar tersebut, Danau Toba, Indonesia berada di urutan ke-24, bersanding dengan beberapa destinasi favorit di dunia lainnya, mulai dari Maui, Hawaii hingga Jenewa, Swiss.
Danau yang dikelilingi oleh delapan kabupaten di Sumatra Utara ini merupakan salah satu destinasi super prioritas yang ditetapkan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Ikon wisata Sumatera Utara itu dipilih karena kemegahan dan keunikannya.
Sementara itu, destinasi dari negara tetangga di Asia Tenggara lain yang turut masuk dalam daftar yakni, Singapura di urutan ke tujuh dan Koh Ker, Kamboja di urutan ke-34. Puluhan daftar destinasi tersebut disusun oleh para ahli dengan mempertimbangkan perjalanan berkelanjutan dan acara budaya.
