Garuda Indonesia Employees Not Allowed to Use Ticket Facility Allotment dutring Christmas and New Year Holidays
SEAToday.com, Jakarta - President Director of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Irfan Setiaputra, on Monday (12/4), prohibited his employees from using free or discounted flight tickets from December 18, 2023, to January 8, 2024. This is to maximize aircraft occupancy rates for the public and maximize company revenue, given the increasing volume of passengers during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 (Nataru) holidays.
The decision to ban the use of employee facilities in the form of free airplane tickets had received objections from the Garuda Indonesia labor union. However, employees are still allowed to use the free airplane ticket facility on dates other than those specified.
For information, every Garuda Indonesia employee is allotted a free or discounted airplane ticket from the company as an employee facility that can be used for employees and their families.
