Rumah Sakit dr. Ben Mboi Diresmikan Sebagai Rumah Sakit Terbesar di Indonesia Timur
SEAToday.com, Nusa Tenggara Timur - Presiden Indonesia Joko Widodo meresmikan Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat (RSUP) dr. Ben Mboi di Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Rabu (6/12). Bersama Presiden, turut hadir Menteri Kesehatan Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Menteri Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, dan Pj. Gubernur Nusa Tenggara Timur Ayodhia Kalake.
Pembangunan RSUP memakan biaya 420 miliar rupiah dan disebut oleh Presiden Jokowi sebagai rumah sakit terbesar di Indonesia bagian Timur.
“Ini adalah rumah sakit terbesar di Indonesia bagian Timur, utamanya di NTT, menempati lahan seluas kurang lebih 14 hektare dan bangunannya sendiri 35 ribu meter persegi. Ini rumah sakit yang besar sekali,” ujar Presiden Jokowi.
Presiden mendorong pemenuhan tenaga kerja RSUP dr. Ben Mboi dengan dokter spesialis dan subspesialis dengan harapan untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia bagian Timur.
