Lionel Messi Akan Diabadikan Sebagai Nama Kota di Argentina
SEAToday.com, Santa Fe - Nama Lionel Messi dinominasikan sebagai nama salah satu kota di Argentina. Langkah ini merupakan bentuk penghargaan atas kontribusi pesepak bola legendaris Lionel Messi bagi sepak bola Argentina, terlebih Messi telah berhasil membawa pulang Piala Dunia setelah mengalahkan Prancis tahun lalu. Usulan tersebut diajukan oleh penduduk Bario Rafael, namun penggantian nama ini harus disetujui oleh Dewan Kota Argentina terlebih dahulu.
Nama “Lionel Messi” nantinya akan menggantikan nama wilayah “Barrio 42”, wilayah yang baru saja dibentuk di kota Santa Fe pada bulan April 2023 dan memiliki 315 kavling rumah. Selain nama Messi, ada beberapa usulan yang juga masuk sebagai pengganti nama jalan Barrio 42. Nominasi lainnya adalah “Mi Tierra”, “Mi Casa”, “Ara San Juan”, “Doctor Favaloro”, dan “Las Colonias”.
