SEAToday.com, Bethlehem - Pasukan Israel menyerang wilayah Tepi Barat Palestina seperti Nablus, Yerikho, Ramallah, dan Betlehem pada Hari Natal, Senin (25/12). Perayaan Natal di tempat yang diyakini umat Kristen sebagai tempat kelahiran Yesus Kristus menjadi sunyi dan sepi akibat serangan tersebut.

Israel juga menduduki kamp pengungsi Jenin dengan menggunakan bom suar. Kamp Jenin merupakan simbol perlawanan warga Palestina terhadap pendudukan. Selain itu, seorang remaja berusia 17 tahun terluka di bagian leher akibat tertembak saat pasukan Israel melakukan penggerebekan di kota Aqaba.

Wilayah Tepi Barat Palestina mengalami lonjakan kekerasan dan penangkapan bersamaan dengan adanya konflik kemanusiaan di Jalur Gaza yang telah menewaskan lebih dari 20.000 warga Palestina.
