Pertamina dan JOGMEC Berkolaborasi dalam Pengukuran dan Penilaian Emisi Metana untuk Mempercepat Transisi Energi
SEAToday.com, Tokyo - PT Pertamina (Persero) dan JOGMEC Kolaborasi dalam Pengukuran dan Penafsiran Emisi Metana untuk Mempercepat Transisi Energi
PT Pertamina (Persero) dan Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) telah menandatangani nota kesepahaman (MoU) untuk bekerja sama dalam pengukuran dan penaksiran emisi metana di fasilitas produksi gas alam di Indonesia.
Kolaborasi ini bertujuan untuk membentuk sistem manajemen emisi metana dan menghitung intensitas karbon (CI) dari operasi hulu. Implementasi awal akan dilakukan di area hulu Pertamina, yaitu Donggi Matindok dan Joint Operating Body Tomori (JOB Tomori) di Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia.
Hal ini menandakan komitmen dari kedua entitas untuk mengatasi masalah emisi metana di sektor energi dan mendorong transisi energi yang lebih berkelanjutan.
