Pertamina Menerapkan Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) di Lapangan Pertamina EP Sukowati Bojonegoro
SEAToday.com, Bojonegoro - Setelah sebelumnya sukses melakukan injeksi perdana CO2 di Lapangan Jatibarang, Indramayu, Jawa Barat, PT Pertamina kembali mengimplementasikan teknologi Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) di Lapangan Pertamina EP Sukowati Bojonegoro, Jawa Timur, Kamis (7/12).
500 ton CO2 diinjeksi menggunakan metode Huff & Puff selama tujuh hari dengan harapan meningkatkan produksi lapangan melalui penerapan CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). SVP Research and Technology Innovation Pertamina Oki Muraza menegaskan, implementasi injeksi ini dapat memberikan konfirmasi dan validasi mengenai teknologi EOR secara spesifik.
Direktur Jenderal Minyak dan Gas Bumi Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Tutuka Ariadji menyambut positif penerapan teknologi CCUS yang dilakukan Pertamina. Ia menilai bahwa Indonesia memiliki potensi besar di bidang CCUS.
