Ministry of Religious Affairs Produces Sign Language Bible Verse Videos

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - The Directorate General of Christian Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religious Affairs is currently producing sign language Bible video content.

Director of Christian Religious Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Amsal Yowei, on Wednesday (11/22) said the video content of the sign language Bible is divided into 14 themes, consisting of 170 verses. Proverbs include 169 Bible verses divided into 13 themes, such as love, hope, joy, sorrow, and others, as well as one verse of the Lord’s Prayer.

To select the content, the Ministry of Religious Affairs involves the Indonesian Bible Institute (LAI). The sign language Bible verse video is planned to be launched on December 15, 2023.
