Germany Wins 3-0 over Venezuela in FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023
November 19, 2023

SEAToday.com, Jakarta - Germany maintained their 100% winning record after defeating Venezuela 3-0 in a Group F match of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023, which took place at the Jakarta International Stadium on Saturday (11/18). The win sees Germany qualify for the knockout stages as group winners.
The match got off to a fast start when Germany, the European champions, took the lead before the game was a minute old. Robert Ramsak scored from close range after a clever corner kick scheme.
Although Venezuela tried to fight back, striker Junior Colina twice came close to equalizing, but his efforts were off target.
Germany continued to threaten every time they attacked, and in the 42nd minute, they managed to double their lead. This time Ramsak was the goal creator, feeding Eric Da Silva Moreira, who scored with a low shot.
Germany's lead increased after the break, with Ramsak deflecting the ball into the net after goalkeeper Jorge Sanchez failed to clear a corner.
Germany continued to control the game and managed to maintain their lead until the end of the match without drama. They will face the runners-up from Group E in Surabaya on Tuesday (11/21) in the round of 16 of the FIFA U-17 World Cup Indonesia 2023.
